Columbus, Pa. In the calm before the mud-churning, engine-revving storm that is the Annual Cornfield 500, the remote racetrack off Route 6 east of Corry looks like a big barren bowl of torn-up dirt.
It's a tradition that grows bigger and bigger every year. The Cornfield 500 is in its 17th year and this year is huge. Thousands of people are expected at the event that features mud truck, stock car racing, mud bogging, motorcycle stunts, jumps, demonstrations, live music, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, good times and more.
