Race
day: Saturday, Aug 30th
Pre-registration will be held all day on Fri, Aug 29th,
starting 9am and ending with a pre-registration party featuring the
Band Rift, Erie's best Classic Rock Band at 7:00pm.
Drivers will also be able to register their vehicles on Saturday from
8am to 10am. The event will start at 11am.
Emergency Media will be back to film the Cornfield 500 for a possible
documentary to be aired on Speed Channel or CMT later in the year.
The Event will conclude with Black Widow, a band out of Buffalo, NY.
They will play from 7:30 to Midnight, with a spectacular fireworks
show at approximately 9:30 pm. All children are requested to
return to their campsites or leave directly after the fireworks.
Remember to
bring your favorite lawn chair, we do not provide seating. You are
welcome to bring your own food and beverages. However, there will be
several food venders available.
Free Camping
is available with the cost of admission. We have porta-pots and a
water source, but electricity and showers are not provided.
